I was staying there to attend my brothers funeral. It was my brothers local and several members of staff knew him. The buffet was great as was the breakfast. They saw a different side to my brother and shared stories of much happier times. The room was clean and comfortable.

Great location for exploring the south coast of Devon. History here of the GIs based here from America training for the D Day landings & the inspiration for the film Saving Private Ryan. Breakfast & dinner excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful. Plenty of free parking.

Lovely Country Pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Great village location with a few Pubs and Shops. Great location for walking and easy access off the A38. The food was excellent. The Staff were nothing short of outstanding. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely welcome. Friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We were staying to take part in a swim early the next morning and Jan made us a packed breakfast to take with us. Our dinner in the evening was good. Comfortable rooms.

Sharon and the staff were incredibly helpful at all times Fantastic location for walking the Dartmoor way. Awesome value for money. (Unfortunately we didn't get to try the highly rated restaurant service, due to poor planning on my part)
